Winter and Holiday cards

Hello Crafty Friends,

Just dropping by to quickly share a few winter and holiday cards I've made using the MFT September Card Kit. If you love puzzles, this kit is perfect cause it has the snow globe die and so many accessory pieces and they're super tiny. Unfortunately they sold out of the kit, but you can now purchase the die separately. Also, the diamond dust is very cool in the shaker. Anyway, here are some of the cards I made using the kit and I plan on making many more.

Here's the first one I made. I really liked the design or layout but I had major regrets about using the liquid appliqué to create the snow. It was just too much. So I took it apart and recycled the card base and the word and made a new card...sans the liquid appliqué and that turned out so much better to my eyes. Although, I'm not entirely sure why the card bases look so different when they should look identical but the picture on the right is truer to the actual color.

Here's the next set of cards which includes the do-over on the bottom. I really like using non-traditional colors.

Here I tried some different designs including a shaker. But I think my favorite of these three is the top card using the snowman. That purple is the perfect shade of winter. lol.

Well, that's it for now for my holiday cards. If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed that I made some other cards as well. I'll post about those later.  I'm trying to build up my stash of birthday cards but got a little distracted by the card kit. lol. Who can relate?

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a blessed and crafty day,
Bettina :)
